I have been helping my Mum downsize and move for what seems to be years and we are almost finished.
The other night we went out for Thai food and at the end of our meal we were each given a fortune cookie. My fortune was interesting, but it did not create the same AH-HA moment that my Mum’s did!
“You don’t need strength to let go of something. What you really need is understanding”. This is THE lesson we’ve learned while helping boomers and seniors downsize, organize and move for over 14 years.
Letting go of furniture and treasures that have been with you for years can be very emotional.
